  • The rental was canceled within the allowed cancellation period.
  • No vehicle was picked up and the rental was not used.
  • The reservation was prepaid, and the supplier’s refund policy allows for reimbursement.
  • Service disruptions caused by the rental provider or XpertCarRental.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Certain bookings and fees are non-refundable. These may include:

  • “Pay at Pick-up” reservations canceled after the scheduled rental start time.
  • No-shows or failure to present valid documentation (license, ID, credit card).
  • Early returns or unused rental days unless explicitly permitted by the supplier.
  • Third-party fees, insurance add-ons, or optional extras purchased at the counter.

3. Cancellation Before Pick-up

You may cancel your reservation before the scheduled pickup time, subject to the terms below:

  • Full refund if canceled at least 48 hours prior to pick-up time.
  • Partial refund if canceled within 24–48 hours (a processing fee may apply).
  • No refund if canceled within 24 hours of pickup or after rental has started.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original form of payment. The processing time may vary based on your bank or credit card provider:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.

5. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact our customer service team with the following details:

  • Your full name and booking reference number
  • Reason for the cancellation or refund request
  • Any supporting documentation, if applicable

Modifications such as changing rental dates, times, or vehicle types may affect your eligibility for a refund. In some cases, rebooking may be necessary, and cancellation fees could apply.
