Post-Ticketing Fees
Overview
At XpertCarRental, we believe in full pricing transparency. While we strive to offer competitive base rental rates, there may be additional service fees that apply after the booking (i.e., post-ticketing) depending on the nature of your changes or requests. These fees cover administrative, supplier, and logistical costs required to process modifications after your reservation has been confirmed.
Modification Fees
Changes made to your confirmed car rental booking, such as altering pickup or drop-off dates, changing vehicle categories, or modifying locations, may incur a post-ticketing service fee of up to $50 per change, in addition to any fare differences applied by the rental supplier. Modification fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation Processing Fees
If your booking qualifies for a cancellation refund under the supplier’s policy, XpertCarRental reserves the right to charge a cancellation processing fee of up to $25. This fee is separate from any cancellation penalties imposed by the rental company or credit card provider.
Late Return Charges
Returning the rental car later than the scheduled return time may result in post-rental charges, including hourly or daily late fees. These fees are determined by the rental supplier and passed on to the customer as-is. In some cases, additional insurance charges may apply if the vehicle is not returned on time.
No-Show Fees
If a customer fails to pick up the vehicle without prior cancellation (a “no-show”), no refund will be issued. Some rental suppliers may charge a no-show penalty which will be applied to your payment method on file.
Service Fee for Document Reissuance
In the event that you require reissuance of your rental confirmation or travel documents due to loss, correction, or data entry error, a service fee of up to $15 may apply. This fee covers administrative handling and support.
International Driver’s Permit Assistance Fee
For customers requesting assistance with verifying or providing documentation for International Driver’s Permits (IDPs), a processing support fee of up to $10 may apply. Please ensure you meet the destination country’s driving requirements prior to pick-up.
